For almost 20 years, our Eton Family is the heart of everything we do. This is an unprecedented time for all of us, and the safety of our staff, patients, and families is our top priority. As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) begins to have a greater impact on our community, we wanted to share with you the steps we are taking as a part of your community to keep you safe and healthy.

Eton’s COVID-19 Preparedness Efforts

  • We streamlined communication regarding safety expectations and practices to our employees in correlation to COVID-19, including proper handwashing hygiene, avoiding close contact with others as much as possible, staying home from work when sick, disinfecting frequently touched surfaces, and following facility protocols and guidelines when applicable.
  • Eton has assembled a COVID-19 response team to coordinate our preparedness. Eton’s response team is vigilantly monitoring COVID-19 developments around the clock. As the leading home health agency in Tulsa, Oklahoma, you can rest assured that we are closely following the guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), as well as the state and local health authorities. Eton is working diligently with our team and families to ensure they have the most accurate and up-to-date information as we navigate this situation together while proactively implementing measures to ensure a safe workplace.
  • We directed our clinical teams to update their Emergency Management Plans and implement these plans in the event their community or state declares the State of Emergency.
  • Eton has suspended all non-essential, work-related travel. This protocol will be assessed and amended as needed. Non-essential, work-related travel includes, for example, visits to local Eton homes (residential, members, and patients). We have established a robust infrastructure to support our remote staff, enabling them to effectively and efficiently work remotely. Essential travel, such as nurses traveling to their assignments, should continue. We remain proud of our nurses and our entire Eton team for stepping it up in this state of emergency and for being our communities’ heroes on the front lines of this pandemic.

We are deeply committed to continuing to serve our communities.
