Helping Loved Ones Reside Successfully in the Community

People who have intellectual or developmental disabilities may require additional assistance with daily tasks. It’s critical to set reasonable goals and determine the type of assistance required to help children become independent. While some people can pick up domestic chores by seeing their parents or other caretakers, folks with intellectual disabilities may need more step-by-step instruction.

Being a care provider for those with developmental and intellectual disabilities, our team makes it a point to ensure the safety and comfort of our clients daily. Our home health care services guarantee that our clients get to live independently and successfully at home and in the community.

The Habilitation Training Services that Eton Home Healthcare, Inc. offers include services to support a member’s self-care, daily living, adaptive, and leisure skills needed to reside successfully in the community. Services are provided in community-based settings in a manner that contributes to a member’s independence, self-sufficiency, community inclusion, and well-being.

Our trained caregivers in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, assist with the acquisition, retention, or improvement of skills related to activities of daily living, such as personal grooming and cleanliness, bed making, household chores, preparation of food, and the social and adaptive skills, necessary to enable the individual to be more independent.

Aside from providing them with the aforementioned services, we also make it our mission to guide them during this process. We allow our clients to perform such duties first-hand with the careful guidance of our homemaker in Oklahoma, of course. Not only does this help them keep up with their day-to-day needs, but it also ensures that they learn certain skills that will help them even if we are not around.
